West Ham are keen on signing Sunderland striker Wilson Isidor and winger Simon Adingra, according to reports.

Writing on his Patreon, The Sun reporter Alan Nixon confirmed that the Hammers are willing to match Isidor’s £20m asking price.

The Haiti international originally joined Sunderland on loan from Zenit St Petersburg in the summer of 2024, and he scored 13 league goals as he helped the Black Cats secure promotion from the Championship.

After moving to the Stadium of Light on a permanent basis last summer, though, Isidor found starts hard to come by, making only 11 in the Premier League, with Brian Brobbey increasingly favoured by head coach Regis Le Bris.

Even so, the 25-year-old still managed to find the back of the net 6 times to help Sunderland seal European qualification.

What about the club’s pursuit of Adingra?

The Northern Echo report that West Ham have “held preliminary discussions” with the Black Cats about signing the Ivorian international. However, there appears to be a major disagreement on how the deal would be structured.

The Irons would reportedly like a loan deal with an obligation to buy on promotion, but Sunderland want a permanent deal. In addition, their asking price seems pretty excessive.

Despite struggling for form since moving from Brighton last summer, as well as having failed to impress after joining Monaco on loan in January, his valuation is £30m.

West Ham are working hard on other deals

As well as being in the market for a striker and a winger, Director of Player Recruitment Nils Koppen is looking to recruit a midfielder, with Celtic’s Arne Engels at the top of his list.

At the moment, though, there is no agreement on the transfer fee between the Championship side and the Scottish champions.
