Lazio striker Taty Castellanos has had his “medical booked” ahead of his £26m transfer to West Ham, according to reports.
GiveMeSport claim that the Argentinian international will be given his medical today (Sunday) as the Hammers look to seal their second signing of the January transfer window.
Pablo arrived from Gil Vicente for £22m prior to the 3-0 defeat to Wolves, and he was unused substitute at Molineux.
Fans will be hoping that both he and Castellanos can breathe new life into an attack that has struggled to score goals on a consistent basis.
What do West Ham fans need to know about their next signing?

To summarise, the 27-year-old is the target man that head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has been desperately seeking.
Castellanos wins over 50% of his aerial duels, and he is also a creative player who can bring others into the game. Some do, though, have concerns about whether he can score on a regular basis in the Premier League.
Who could be signed after Castellanos?
Nuno has two more positions he wants to strengthen – the left wing and the centre of defence. Fulham’s Adama Traore was his favoured candidate for the former role but complications have led the Irons to move on to alternatives, including Al-Ittihad’s Steven Bergwijn.
A more pressing need is undoubtedly a centre-back, especially after shipping 3 goals against bottom-of-the-table Wolves on Saturday afternoon.
The top target is Charlie Cresswell, but getting him out of Toulouse for a reasonable price is likely to be an issue. After splashing out £47m on Pablo and Castellanos, it remains to be seen how much money is left in the transfer kitty.
