West Ham will sell Soungoutou Magassa and Mohamadou Kante if they receive the “right offers” before the transfer window closes, according to journalist Alan Nixon.
Writing on his Patreon, Nixon said that the Hammers are already looking at potential targets who could replace them:
“The pair may be let out if the right offers come in and Hammers can find suitable replacements as the transfer team look into late deals.”
“Both are young enough to attract interest, and West Ham are actively looking for players who could take their place in their promotion-chasing squad.”
How much do West Ham want for the pair?
Earlier this summer, it was reported that the club were hoping to raise between £15m and £20m for Kante, who was signed from Paris FC in the summer of 2024.
In terms of Magassa’s asking price, the Irons may just be looking to get their money back on the player who was recruited from Monaco for an initial €17m (£14.7m) last year.
It is believed that the 22-year-old is attracting interest from both Lyon and Marseille.

Magassa and Kante won’t be the only players leaving
Edson Alvarez was left out of the matchday squad for the 2-2 draw against Burnley at the weekend. Speaking after the game, head coach Nuno Espirito Santo addressed the Mexican international’s future:
“The transfer window is still open. We have to be ready for everything.”
Aaron Wan-Bissaka was also notably absent for the game at Turf Moor (along with Niclas Fullkrug and Jean-Clair Todibo). The Republic of Congo international is said to be attracting interest from Aston Villa, Newcastle, Everton and Fulham.
El Hajdi Malick Diouf came on as a late substitute on Sunday, but he is also tipped to leave, with the likes of Brentford pursuing his signature.
