West Ham trio Mohammed Kudus, Edson Alvarez and Guido Rodriguez may be sold at the end of the season, according to reports.
GiveMeSport claim that the three players “could be allowed” to leave the London Stadium if the Hammers receive satisfactory bids.
Kudus’s future is technically out of the club’s hands as an £85m release clause will become active when the summer transfer window opens.
The likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle have been credited with an interest in the Ghanaian international in recent months.
However, Kudus’s form has been rather poor. He has scored just 3 goals and provided 2 assists in 23 appearances so far this campaign, which suggests that teams are unlikely to match the aforementioned buyout fee as things stand.
Rodriguez is surplus to requirements
Even though Guido Rodriguez only joined West Ham last summer, he has struggled to make an impression. Since Graham Potter’s appointment as manager, the Argentinian international has started just two games (the 3-2 win over Fulham).
After being hauled off at half-time during the 2-0 home defeat to Crystal Palace, the midfielder has played just one minute against Aston Villa in the league. If he continues to be used sparingly by Potter, he is likely to be offloaded. GiveMeSport report that the club are hoping to raise around £10m from his sale this summer.
West Ham may decide to cash in on Alvarez
As part of a massive revamp of the squad, Rodriguez’s teammate Edson Alvarez could also be sold. Monaco were keen on signing the player on loan during the January transfer window but their overtures were knocked back by the Irons.
The London club may opt to sanction his departure over the coming months but only if they can raise a decent amount of money from his sale.
