West Ham Have Now Told Interested Clubs How Much They Want For Mohammed Kudus Amid Further Chelsea Talks

West Ham have settled on a figure of £65m for Mohammed Kudus’s asking price, according to reports.

Several Premier League teams are interested in signing the Ghanaian international and Claret & Hugh say that the Hammers are prepared to let him go if their valuation is met.

Kudus does have a release clause in his contract worth £85m which is active for the first 10 days in July.

However, it is unlikely that any team will match that figure, so a fee slightly below that amount will be accepted.

Chelsea have held “further talks” with West Ham

The Guardian have confirmed that the Blues have returned to hold more discussions with the Irons about purchasing Kudus.

Enzo Maresca’s team are also eyeing moves for Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens and Brighton’s Joao Pedro but it is believed that Kudus remains a top target.

“Further talks” are said to have taken place, although no formal proposal has been made at this stage. There have been suggestions that players could be offered in exchange but it is thought that West Ham will only accept a cash deal.

Kudus could still be involved in a bidding war

As well as Chelsea, insider ExWHUEmployee has said that Tottenham have joined the battle for Kudus’s signature. Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle have registered their interest too.

For that reason, the Hammers are still hopeful of getting a sizeable fee for the 24-year-old. Despite heading into the summer off the back of a very average season, it appears that Kudus remains the club’s most saleable asset.

Fans will be keen for his future to be resolved as quickly as possible so the money received from his transfer can be used to improve the squad.
