West Ham Could Receive Huge Transfer Windfall After Arsenal Linked Player Signals That He’s ‘Open’ To Saudi Move

Graham Potter’s summer transfer window warchest could be bolstered if West Ham forward Mohammed Kudus does accept a move to Saudi Arabia.

Up until now, it has been assumed that the Ghanaian international would join another Premier League club.

Arsenal were mentioned as potential suitors at the beginning of the year, while Liverpool, Newcastle and Manchester United have been linked in recent months too.

However, Kudus’s poor form this season means none of these clubs are willing to meet his release clause, with TBRFootball reporting the most that the Hammers would receive if he stays in England is £50m.

Saudi interest could raise millions more for Kudus

With attractive offers from the Premier League not forthcoming, West Ham are said to be pushing the 24-year-old towards moving to the Middle East and it appears they may get their wish.

TBRFootball claim that Kudus is “open” to joining a Saudi Pro League club, with Al-Nassr thought to be among his potential destinations.

How much could West Ham receive from the forward’s sale?

It is believed that Kudus has a buyout clause in his contract worth £120m for Saudi clubs. Whether there is any chance of a team tabling such a high bid, it is up for debate.

Even so, any offer is likely to be higher than the ones received from Premier League teams.

Based on recent reports, it does seem as if the Irons are already planning for life without Kudus. It has been suggested that the club are keeping an eye on Strasbourg’s Dilane Bakwa. Southampton’s Tyler Dibling is also believed to be a player of interest.

Both have similar profiles to Kudus and it would not make much sense to pursue either player unless the Ghanaian’s time at the London Stadium was coming to an end.
