West Ham are “interested” in signing Tottenham winger Manor Solomon, according to reports.

Sport 5 claim that the Israeli international is being pursued by both the Hammers and Fiorentina (where he spent the second half of last season on loan),

Solomon has only played six games for Spurs since joining them on a free transfer from Fulham in the summer of 2023.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side will, though, be hoping that he can replicate the form he showed during his time at Leeds.

Solomon scored 10 goals and 12 assists whilst on loan at Elland Road during the 2024/25 season, helping Daniel Farke’s side secure promotion.

West Ham need to replace Summerville

Having sold Crysencio Summerville to Al-Hilal for £60m, the Irons will be keen to strengthen the flanks, and Solomon would certainly be a strong candidate.

The 27-year-old is a right-footed left winger, so he would bolster a position that is badly in need of reinforcements.

Maxwell Cornet and Keiber Lamadrid are both at Nuno’s disposal, but neither is deemed suitable to start games on a regular basis, with the former injury-prone and the latter seen as one for the future.

Solomon is not the only winger who has been targeted

There was interest in Abdul Fatawu before he signed for Ipswich, while Brighton pair Omario Cozier-Duberry and Simon Adingra, Sevilla’s Ruben Vargas and Everton’s Dwight McNeil have also been linked.

Solomon does seem to be a realistic option, at the very least, although the fact that his agent has said that the player wants a “permanent transfer” may cause issues.

Sport 5 report that the Israeli could yet return to Fiorentina if the Serie A giants indicate a willingness to sign him. It is definitely a story to keep a close eye on over the coming days.
