West Ham “Would Like To” Sign Brazilian Starlet Who Could Be Tempted By January Loan Switch

West Ham hold a long-term interest in Real Madrid forward Endrick, according to journalist Graeme Bailey.

There has been speculation in the Spanish press that the Hammers could make a loan bid in January for the Brazilian teenager, and speaking to Hammers.News, Bailey said that it is a genuine possibility, with the London club having followed him for the best part of a year:

“West Ham have tried to sign Endrick on more than one occasion. They were at the head of the queue in January [2025] for instance, had he moved on loan. They even asked when he originally arrived in Madrid, in case he was allowed to go.”

“Endrick, I am told, was open to the possibility had he left on loan, but it was always about creating his chance at Madrid. The fact it still hasn’t worked out, then, I am told West Ham still would like to take him. And if he is allowed out, West Ham honestly can’t be discounted.”

The striker may be open to joining West Ham

As Bailey points out, Endrick has made breaking through into Real Madrid’s first team his top priority but he has not ruled out leaving the Bernabeu on a temporary basis to get more game time.

Real head coach Xabi Alonso has not even used the 19-year-old as a substitute since the youngster returned from a thigh injury last month. He has been on the bench for the last five games.

If Endrick’s situation doesn’t improve between now and the New Year, a loan switch to the London Stadium could be seriously considered.

Endrick would provide a much-needed goal threat

Niclas Fullkrug and Callum Wilson have only scored one goal between them so far this campaign, and head coach Nuno Espirito Santo will be keen to add more firepower.

While Endrick did not play that often last season, he did score 7 times despite only making 8 starts. He was averaging a goal every 121 minutes. If he could bring that strike rate with him to the London Stadium, he would be a tremendous asset.
