Celtic striker Daniel Cummings will become a West Ham player on July 1st, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Scotland Under Under 19 international has scored 30 goals this season and he will leave the Scottish Premiership champions for the Hammers when his contract expires. Romano has confirmed that a medical has already been completed, with Graham Potter’s side paying €300,000 (£252,000) in compensation:

Cummings is expected to become part of the first-team squad next season, although his lack of experience may count against him.
What do West Ham fans need to know about the forward?
Cummings came through Celtic’s youth academy and he has caught the eye playing for Celtic’s B team in the Lowland League this season, having scored 23 times in 28 appearances.
The teenager has also impressed for the Under-19s in the UEFA Youth League, bagging 6 goals in 7 matches as Celtic made it to the first knockout round.
Those performances were rewarded when Cummings was handed his first-team debut in a Champions League group fixture against Aston Villa back in January.
Cummings won’t be the only No.9 signed this summer
With Evan Ferguson returning to Brighton after his loan spell, and Michail Antonio’s future still uncertain, it is expected that the Irons will be in the market for a first-choice striker.
Lille’s Jonathan David, Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philipp Mateta and Stuttgart’s Nick Woltemade have all been mentioned as possible options.
West Ham are also hoping to sign a midfielder. Read more as sources reveal that the club are holding talks to buy Club Brugge’s Raphael Onyedika.
