‘Not Going There’ ‘We Shouldn’t Sell For Less Than £60M’ Fans React To Prospect Of West Ham Star Moving To Fierce Rival

Tottenham are targeting West Ham forward Mohammed Kudus, according to reports.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that the Ghanaian is “open” to joining Thomas Frank’s team, so a deal is a genuine possibility if the Spurs come up with the right offer.

There has been an unofficial transfer embargo in place between the two London clubs for the last 14 years, and fans on X have been debating whether Kudus should be allowed to make the switch across the capital:

Kudus’s release clause will be active soon

Any Premier League club can sign the 24-year-old for £85m between July 1st and July 15th and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham would be willing to spend that much.

West Ham do need to raise funds in order to bring in new signings so they may be prepared to sell Kudus for less than that.

However, it remains to be seen whether they would be open to such a deal with Spurs, considering the antipathy between the two clubs.

Are other teams interested in the West Ham star?

Chelsea were seriously keen on buying Kudus, but after they agreed a deal for Brighton’s Joao Pedro, it suggests they may now cool their interest.

Arsenal and Newcastle United have also been mentioned as potential suitors, but the most likely candidate appears to be Tottenham.

In other news, West Ham have been backed to sign an Arsenal player for just £10m
