Tomas Soucek To Start; James Ward-Prowse On The Bench: West Ham Predicted Lineup Vs Chelsea

West Ham boss Graham Potter is already under pressure following the disappointing defeat to newly-promoted Sunderland on the opening day.

Things won’t get any easier for the Hammers’ head coach with London rivals Chelsea the club’s next opponents on Friday evening.

Read below as we go through our West Ham predicted lineup for the first home game of the campaign at the London Stadium.

Goalkeeper and Defence

GK – Mads Hermansen – the £20m signing will be looking for an improvement after a very poor debut at the Stadium of Light.

CB – Jean-Clair Todibo – the centre-back had a decent game against Sunderland but was surprisingly subbed.

CB – Max Kilman – the defender could be going head-to-head with either Liam Delap or Joao Pedro, who will present very different challenges.

CB – Nayef Aguerd – depending on who Chelsea pick to start the match, the Moroccan could be facing either Pedro Neto or Estevao. Neither is a very enticing prospect and he will need support from Diouf.
