Ex-West Ham and Fulham midfielder Tony Gale has slammed Mohammed Kudus for “sulking” during the 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
Gale was on commentary duty for the match between his two former clubs and, speaking about Kudus’s attitude in the second half, he said:
“Kudus looks like he’s in a sulk now. He’s not been involved and not seen the ball as much as he’d have liked and he looks like he’s sulking that people aren’t passing to him. It’s bad body language and he’s lost interest in tracking back and helping out defensively.”
Despite the strong criticism of Kudus by Gale, the vast majority of supporters on X agreed with the pundit:
Kudus hasn’t been great this season to be faie

West Ham’s “£100m” player
Ironically, before making those comments, Gale claimed that Kudus was “worth over £100m”, and with his release fee set at €100m (£84m), he isn’t far off the mark.
When the Ghanaian international’s buyout clause becomes active next summer, there will be plenty of clubs who will be tempted to pay the asking price. Manchester United and Liverpool both considered making an offer during the last transfer window.
Kudus has been backed to have a great campaign
Speaking after the defeat to Aston Villa on the opening day last month, Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp tipped the 24-year-old to be “one of the stars of the season.”
Despite all the praise he has received, though, Kudus has to be careful that he doesn’t rest on his laurels. He is a better player than what he showed at the weekend.
