‘We Have A Manager Thanks’ ‘Random’ – West Ham Fans React As Ex-Chelsea Boss Is Backed To Replace Lopetegui

Former Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri would be a good fit for West Ham, according to Sky Sports.

Even though the Hammers only appointed Julen Lopetegui a few months ago, the Spaniard is already under pressure after a slow start to the season.

Sarri has been linked with the job at the London Stadium before but supporters on X still believe that Lopetegui should be given the necessary time to get things right:

Lopetegui’s win against Ipswich has given him some breathing room

If West Ham hadn’t secured the three points versus Ipswich Town just before the international break, there would have been a lot of speculation about the manager’s future in recent days.

As it is, the victory last weekend should settle things down but Lopetegui will know that things will need to continue moving in the right direction.

West Ham have made their bed with the signings they have made

The Irons spent a lot of money during the summer transfer window and, based on what we’ve heard, most (if not all) of the signings were brought in on Lopetegui’s recommendation.

Another manager (such as Sarri) may be able to get these players to perform as well, but the club have placed their faith in Lopetegui and now it is time for him to deliver results on the pitch.
