Crystal Palace have tabled a £27m offer for West Ham target Conor Gallagher, according to The Times reporter Gary Jacob.
The journalist, who is usually pretty reliable, claims that the Eagles have decided to “launch” a bid to secure the England international on a permanent basis:

Gallagher has been heavily linked with a move to the Hammers over the past week but, in addition to Palace, David Moyes’s side will have to see off a number of rivals to secure the midfielder’s signature.
It is believed that seven other teams, including Newcastle United and Everton, are vying to sign the 22-year-old, who is keen on getting game time ahead of the World Cup in November.
Chelsea are said to be looking to keep hold of Gallagher so it is doubtful that they would sanction his sale. West Ham have contemplated proposing a loan offer, though, so the Irons may have more luck recruiting him on a temporary basis.
