West Ham are interested in taking Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford on loan, according to insider ExWHUEmployee.
While a move is deemed unlikely at this stage, Ex said on the West Ham Way Patreon (quotes via their website) that the England international is “under consideration”.
Rashford is a divisive figure and that is reflected by the reactions from Hammers fans on X to the report:
This would be a smart move all round. West Ham need a new wide forward and PL suits Rashford. Fresh start for 6 months, AWB is there and it worked for Lingard

The player’s wages would be a big obstacle for West Ham
The 27-year-old is currently earning £300,000 a week at Manchester United and West Ham would require the Red Devils to pay most of his wages for any deal to be viable.
For that reason, a switch to the London Stadium isn’t deemed plausible, especially as there are plenty of other teams interested in the striker.
Who could Rashford join instead?
It is believed that the player’s entourage have met with representatives from AC Milan, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund.
All three teams would also have issues with paying Rashford’s salary in full but there is a feeling that the forward would prioritise a move abroad. In an interview earlier this month, he spoke about seeking a “new challenge” so a switch to Italy or Germany looks the most likely scenario at the moment.
