West Ham are in danger of losing out on both Palmeiras winger Luis Guilherme and Flamengo defender Fabricio Bruno, according to The Sun reporter Jack Rosser.
Deals for the pair were reportedly close to being finalised but Rosser claims the Hammers “fear” that they will join Saudi Pro League clubs instead, where they will earn higher salaries:

If the news turns out to be accurate, it will be a major setback for technical director Tim Steiden, who has been working hard on both deals over the past week.
Reports had suggested that West Ham would pay around €30m (£25.5m) for Guilherme and €13.5m (£11.5m) including add-ons for Bruno, but it looks like neither transfer will go ahead.
Saudi money has swayed the two Brazilian stars
The news about Bruno being tempted by the riches in the Middle East was not a complete surprise. He is 28 years of age so it is likely to be his last chance for a big payday.
If Guilherme does opt for a similar move, though, it would raise a few eyebrows. The 18-year-old would be turning his back on European football.
West Ham are not the only team that have pursued the winger, with Liverpool and Chelsea having been credited with an interest as well, but it seems he has been tempted by the sizeable wages on offer in Saudi.
Where does this leave West Ham?
Steidten appears to be continuing negotiations for several players. The issues encountered with Guilherme may quicken talks to sign Vitoria Guimaraes winger Jota Silva.
Another player based in Portugal, Braga striker Simon Banza, is also believed to be on the club’s radar. The 27-year-old scored 23 goals in all competitions last season.
