‘Perfect For Us’ ‘Looks More Than Decent’ West Ham Fans Call On Club To Sign £20M Striker From PL Rivals

Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap has had an impressive start to his career with the Tractor Boys and West Ham supporters have been discussing whether the club should consider bringing him to the London Stadium.

The striker has hit the back of the net 6 times in 12 league appearances since his £20m move from Manchester City in the summer.

After watching Delap impress once again during the 1-1 draw against Manchester United at the weekend, fans on X have been debating whether the Hammers should try and sign the forward:

West Ham need reinforcements up front

With summer signing Niclas Fullkrug having missed most of the season so far due to an Achilles injury, head coach Julen Lopetegui has had to rely on the likes of Michail Antonio and Danny Ings.

Unfortunately, the pair have only managed 2 goals between them in all competitions so far and the club are likely to make a move for another No.9 in January.

Delap has plenty of suitors

Reports over the past few weeks have linked the likes of Chelsea, Newcastle and Brighton with the 21-year-old. There is even a chance that he could go back to Manchester City.

It is believed that the Premier League champions inserted a clause which means they can buy back the player for a fee in excess of £30m.
