£25M Rated West Ham Target Has Been ‘Offered’ To Chelsea As Transfer Takes Yet Another Twist

West Ham transfer target Fikayo Tomori has been “offered” to “several” clubs, including his former team Chelsea, according to reports.

Sky Sports Switzerland claim that the 27-year-old is available for around €25m (£21m) to €30m (£25m) this month but they haven’t received a formal offer so far.

There were reports earlier this week that Juventus were trying to secure Tomori’s services, but the Bianconeri are only interested in a loan deal with an obligation to buy (based on certain conditions).

Milan are clearly hoping for better offers, hence the reason why teams in England have been made aware of his availability.

4 teams (including West Ham) are believed to be pursuing the defender

Although Chelsea have been given the opportunity to re-sign Tomori, it doesn’t look like they will take up Milan’s offer. Sky Sports Swizterland claim the Blues will only make a move if they can offload Axel Disasi. That will allow other clubs the opportunity to swoop in.

TalkSPORT suggest that the Hammers, Tottenham, Newcastle and Brentford are the teams likeliest to table a bid during the January transfer window, although it isn’t known which one is the favourite to secure his signature at the moment.

Milan may still change their minds about Tomori

Another factor that should be considered is that the Rossoneri have recently changed their manager. Former Porto boss Sergio Conceicao has replaced Paulo Fonseca in the dugout.

Tomori had fallen out of favour under Fonseca, with the Portuguese preferring a centre-back partnership of Matteo Gabbia and Malick Thiaw. However, Conceicao may have different plans.

If Tomori impresses his new coach on the training pitch, there is still a chance that the England international will stay at the San Siro until the end of the season.
