West Ham United manager Julen Lopetegui has eased some of the pressure on him after a win against Newcastle.
It was the Hammers’ best-looking performance so far this season as they beat Newcastle 2-0 at St James’ Park.
They took the lead after just 10 minutes from a corner which Tomas Soucek connected with to make it 1-0.
West Ham then had to deal with a lot of pressure from the Magpies before they were able to make it 2-0 after 53 minutes thanks to a nice finish from former Crystal Palace and Manchester United full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Reports had been emerging before the game that Lopetegui was under serious pressure at the club and his job was under threat, however, has the 2-0 win eased some of that pressure.
