Fulham Vs West Ham United: Match Preview & Injury News

After a dismal display against a ruthless Newcastle United outfit, West Ham United will be looking to pick up the pieces as they take on Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday, April 8.

It’s not all bad though – outside of Gianluca Scamacca, who is expected to be out of action until mid-April, the Hammers have no new injury concerns ahead of their game against the Cottagers.

In their last Premier League game, the Hammers were smashed by a score of 5-1 at the hands of Newcastle – but in reality, the Irons were their own worst enemy. Almost all of the Magpies’ goals were avoidable, especially the third, as Nayef Aguerd was robbed of possession in front of goal.

It was both a poor and concerning display – West Ham will need to be much better than this if they want to remain in the Premier League.

Fulham were also beaten in their last game, as they put in a poor display against a lowly Bournemouth outfit. Lacking key players such as Aleksandar Mitrović (who will also miss the game against the Hammers) and their manager, the Cottagers were all at sea against the Cherries, who won the game 2-1.

The last time the two teams met, all the way back on October 9, West Ham came from behind to win by a score of 3-1. On that day, Jarrod Bowen, Gianluca Scamacca and Michail Antonio got their names on the scoresheet for the Hammers – another win akin to this would be a massive boost to West Ham’s survival chances.
