Celtic fullback Josip Juranovic could be sold for €6m (£5.2m), according to reports in the Italian media.
The Croatian international starred for his country at the World Cup, attracting interest from the likes of West Ham, Manchester United, Chelsea and even Barcelona.
Supporters on Twitter believe that, if the rumours about Juranovic’s price tag are accurate, the Hammers should do their best to secure the defender’s services:
Wow that’s a steal, was solid all tournament

Loan first, then £2mill spread over ten years.

I don’t watch Scottish league but they signed Johnston from Canada so maybe that could be preparation for juranovic leaving

Looks good when opposition wingers don’t track him like what Brazil did. Hardly spectacular at Celtic but I’d reckon he’d still be a good Premier League level player.

The figure does seem too good to be true. Juranovic has a contract at Celtic until 2026, while the demand for his services means the Hoops could probably hold out for double or perhaps even triple the €6m quoted.
West Ham manager David Moyes has downplayed the chances of recruiting any players during the January transfer window but, if a player like Vladimir Coufal were to leave, a replacement would be needed.
Juranovic would certainly be on the shortlist of options, as would Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
