Roma captain Edin Dzeko has rejected the chance of moving to West Ham, according to reports in the Italian media.
The Bosnian international has fallen out with Giallorossi boss Paulo Fonseca and is looking to leave Italy before the January transfer window closes. However, the former Manchester City striker seems to be unwilling to make the switch to the London Stadium.
Dzeko has been linked with the Hammers a number of times over the last couple of years and, combined with the fact that the target man wouldn’t fit David Moyes’ style of the play, fans on Twitter are not too bothered about missing out on the 34-year-old:
He wouldn’t suit us at all so thankfully he prefers other other options

Is it even a transfer window if we’re not linked with Dzeko

West Ham are thought to be looking at a more mobile forward, who can fill in when Michail Antonio is not available. The likes of Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard, RB Leipzig’s Hwang Hee-Chan and Reims’ Boulaye Dia have been linked but, at the moment, no deal is close to being finalised.
