Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham is not willing to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge as he doesn’t believe he will be a regular starter under manager Thomas Tuchel, according to reports in England.
The Blues’ pursuit of Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland is believed to have unsettled Abraham and there could be a possibility of the England international leaving the club in the summer.
If Abraham does become available, West Ham supporters on Twitter have been discussing whether the Hammers should consider going after the 23-year-old. Most would be behind the move:
Would definitely take him at West ham

Dont think hes a "top 6 club" striker but i think he would be decent for us. Prem proven as well

100% proven prem goalscorer and still young

Fits the bill as far as I’m concerned. Young and hungry proven in the PL and European experience. Maybe would bring that Elite club mentality that Lingard brings

Would fit West Ham so well.
Good striker but not the elite level striker “yet".— N.MENSAH ? (@97days_) February 24, 2021
Would be a superb signing, make it happen Moysie!

23 years old & only 2 years left on his contract. This would be a quality signing for us. I don’t see it happening but I would love to see him in Claret & Blue. He is All we need in a striker: PL experience and goals. Also think RLC is having a good season at Fulham on loan in CM

Absolutely 20 goal a season striker ??

Of course, a lot can happen between now and the summer. Abraham could establish himself as an indispensable first-team player at Chelsea, but he could equally be relegated to third choice behind Olivier Giroud and Timo Werner.
If he does find his game time restricted, West Ham may be an attractive option for the Englishman as he looks for a club where he can be a more important player.
