‘Would Be Such A Good Signing’ ‘I Think He’d Be Happy To Join’ Fans Speculate On Whether West Ham Can Secure 26M Transfer Coup

West Ham are believed to be one of a number of Premier League clubs interested in signing Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic this summer.

The Serbian internatonal has also been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City in recent days, with the defender set to be made available for €30m (£26m) with his contract running into its final year.

Supporters on Twitter agree the Hammers are not the favourites to land Milenkovic but they feel that a deal could still be on the cards, even if the London club are not in the Champions League:

Fiorentina will be forced into selling the 23-year-old at the end of the season so it will all come down to whether clubs are prepared to stump up the cash.

Out of all the other English teams involved, Manchester United are probably the ones who may consider making a bid, although the fact that Eric Bailly has recently signed a new deal may see them cool their interest. If others don’t make their move, though, there is every chance West Ham could swoop in.
