TalkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan does not believe that West Ham captain Declan Rice is worth £100m.
The England international has been linked with moves to Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in recent months but the Hammers are expected to hold out for a nine-figure fee. Even so, Jordan claims that the player’s price tag is exorbitant:
😠 “He’s not a £100m footballer, he’s a long way away from what people have built him up to be!”
👀 “Todd Boehly will buy him for £120m!”

Jordan is essentially backing what former Manchester United player Roy Keane has been saying about Rice but West Ham fans on Twitter has dismissed their remarks, stating it is up to the Irons to determine how much he is worth to them:
Declan rice is worth what west ham say he is not what 2 bob journo thinks

160million going by what Chelsea have paid for their flops ⚒⚒

People that don’t value him at £100m don’t watch westham. They only watch him for England, where he is held back/limited by Southgate.

Not worth it 🤔 then don’t pay it ⚒

He’s not a £100m player because he plays for West Ham.
If the same Declan Rice played for a top 3 team, he’d mysteriously be worth all that!

He is a 100million+ player, playing in a side that has struggled this season, poor radio journalism, very poor

Pundits like Jordan and Keane do like to court controversy and their outspoken comments are designed to get a reaction. Considering the interest in Rice, it’s clear that West Ham will demand a high fee, no matter what those outside of the club are saying. He is their talisman so they won’t let him leave unless they receive an offer that is commensurate to his value to the team.
Ahead of West Ham’s match this weekend, why not give the Single Game Survivor from National World Gaming a go and have a chance of winning a share of a cash prize pot?
You can make predictions about the match (e.g who scores first, who commits five fouls first etc) and if you guess correctly, you survive.
The unique twist? You get two lives to play with so if you get one of your predictions wrong, you still have an opportunity to win a share of the money.
Even if you make it just to half-time with one life remaining, you will receive some cash and if you make it all the way to full-time, you get to share the prize pot with your fellow participants.
It’s a really great way to test your football knowledge against other supporters, then watch in real-time to discover if your predictions are correct, and perhaps even win yourself some money in the process!
If you are interested in registering for the National World Gaming Single Game Survivor, you can do so here.
