‘Won’t Know Until Moyes Gives Him Some Playing Time’ ‘Not Sure About This Guy’ West Ham Fans Debate 26M Summer Signing’s Impact

West Ham midfielder Nikola Vlasic has been speaking to the club’s official website ahead of tomorrow’s game against his former club Everton.

The Croatian international says he is still getting used to life at the London club but he is hoping the Hammers can get back to winning ways at Goodison Park:

“After the last game we lost against Brentford, I think we need a good game and to win three points to be back on a good track. I’ve really enjoyed my time here so far, but I think I need to get more used to the Club, the players and everything around the city, so I think it’ll be even better in the future.”

Vlasic was signed from CSKA Moscow for an initial £26m at the end of August, but it is fair to say he hasn’t had the expected impact so far, and fans on Twitter have been discussing his form:

To be fair to Vlasic, out of the six games he has featured in for West Ham, he has only made one start in the league, as well as another two in the Europa League.

During his time at CSKA, the 24-year-old was known for racking up goals and assists, having 54 goal involvements in just 108 appearances for the Russian club, and it will be hoped that he can perform to that level during his second spell in England.
