West Ham Will Have To Up Their January Bid By 27M If They Want To Land La Liga Poacher This Summer

Sevilla will demand upwards of €50m (£44.4m) for striker Youssef En-Nesyri in the summer, according to reports in the Spanish media.

West Ham are said to have tabled a loan offer for the Moroccan during the January transfer window, which included an almost mandatory purchase clause of around €20m (£17.76m). However, the bid was rejected.

If the Hammers do plan on revisiting the situation at the end of the season, it appears they will have to pay nearly £27m more than their original offer.

Considering Danny Ings only arrived from Aston Villa in the New Year, and Gianluca Scamacca joined from Sassuolo last summer, you can’t see David Moyes’ side making another approach for En-Nesyri, despite their longstanding interest.

A switch to the Premier League is still a possibility, with Brighton and Arsenal having been mentioned as potential suitors in the past, but the odds are in favour of the forward remaining in Spain.
