West Ham Weighing Up Move For France International Who Scored 32 Goals Last Season

West Ham and Wolves are both interested in signing Monaco forward Wissam Ben Yedder, according to reports in the English media.

The 31-year-old is being considered by manager David Moyes as he looks to add depth to his attacking options, with the Hammers having been overly reliant on Michail Antonio in recent seasons.

Ben Yedder bagged an extremely impressive 32 goals for Monaco last campaign, but it must be said that he is more of a goal poacher, rather than someone who could lead the line effectively on his own.

Saying that, he is an experienced player, having been capped 19 times by France, and both Arsenal and Manchester United have been linked with the striker over the past couple of years. It is, though, unlikely that he will be top of Moyes’ list of transfer targets.

Chelsea’s Armando Broja remains the standout candidate to strengthen the front line. Recent reports have suggested that the Albanian may press for a move away from Stamford Bridge, which would encourage West Ham into making an official offer. We shall see who the Irons end up going after.
