West Ham Weighing Up 10M January Swoop For 40K A Week PL Defender

West Ham are considering whether to make an offer for Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo when the January transfer window opens, according to reports in England.

The 25-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the season, although the Cottagers do have an option to extend his stay for another year, so he could still cost around £10m.

Adarabioyo came through Manchester City’s academy and he was actually linked with Arsenal before he made the move to Craven Cottage two years ago.

The centre-back, who earns £40,000 a week, hasn’t been a regular starter for Fulham in recent weeks, with manager Marco Silva currently preferring Tim Ream and ex-Hammers star Issa Diop in the middle of defence.

It’s likely that Adarabioyo is being eyed as a potential replacement for Craig Dawson, who is keen on moving back North due to personal reasons. Wolves failed to secure his services before the transfer deadline back in September but the player will get his move if another team makes an offer in January.
