West Ham Vying With Two Other Premier League Rivals For Mexican Flyer

West Ham are interested in signing Napoli winger Hirving Lozano, according to Calciomercato.com. The Italian website reports that the Hammers, along with Wolves and Everton are keeping tabs on the Mexican international.

The 24-year-old only moved to Italy from PSV Eindhoven in the summer for £36m but he has struggled to make an impact since making the switch to Serie A.

Lozano has scored just three goals and contributed only two assists in 28 appearances for Napoli this campaign. It’s a stark contrast to the 21 goals and 12 assists he managed in the Netherlands last season.

Whether he would have a better time adapting to the Premier League, it remains to be seen, but he could well be available considering he has fallen out of favour under manager Gennaro Gattuso.

Lozano has not started a league game since early December and he has been an unused substitute in Napoli’s last two league matches against Brescia and Torino.
