Roma striker Edin Dzeko remains a target for West Ham in the summer, according to reports in Italy.

The Bosnian international will not be offered a new contract at the Stadio Olimpico with his current deal set to expire in 2020.

Dzeko is said to be weighing up whether to leave this summer or wait until his contract runs down and leave on a free transfer.

The Hammers won’t be favourites for the 33-year-old’s signature, though, with the ex-Manchester City forward reportedly favouring a move to Inter Milan.

Dzeko is believed to be keen to remain in Italy and the prospect of playing Champions League gives the Nerazzurri the edge over West Ham.

The Irons will likely be seeking a replacement for Marko Arnautovic in the summer, with the Austrian likely to be leaving for China.

In addition to Dzeko, the likes of Celta Vigo’s Maxi Gomez and Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic are also said to be targets for the London club.
