West Ham have made an enquiry about signing Watford winger Gerard Deulofeu, according to reports in the English media.

The Spaniard has also been the subject of interest from AC Milan who are said to have tabled a bid of £22m for the 24-year-old.

Deulofeu joined the Serie A club on a six-month loan deal back in 2017 when he was an Everton player.

The winger then moved to Barcelona before securing a permanent £12m move to the Hornets last summer. He had spent the second half of last season on loan at Vicarage Road.

Watford are reportedly reluctant to let Deulofeu leave and have put a price tag of £30m on the Spanish international.

Since returning to the Premier League, the winger has been in good form, having scored three goals and provided three assists in 17 appearances for the Hornets.

With the transfer deadline fast approaching, the Hammers will have to move fast if they want to sign Deulofeu.
