The 2-0 win away at Fulham last week means West Ham will head into the festive period off the back of four consecutive wins.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side are shooting up the table and are now in the top half as we reach the midway point of the season.
The run of form is even more impressive considering the amount of injuries the Hammers have had to cope with. Jack Wilshere (ankle) is now out for another five weeks, and could miss the rest of the season if he requires another operation.
Lucas Perez (foot) could return to face Watford on Saturday, with his fitness being assessed by the club’s medical staff. However, six other players are out for the long term with Ryan Fredericks (shin), Marko Arnautovic (hamstring), Carlos Sanchez, Winston Reid, Manuel Lanzini (knee problems) and Andriy Yarmolenko (Achilles) all sidelined.
For Watford, manager Javi Gracia has four players out of action. Andre Gray (leg), Will Hughes (hip), Sebastian Prodl (knee) and Adalberto Penaranda (foot) all have injuries. Etienne Capoue returns from a three-match ban.
