West Ham V Tottenham Match Preview And Predicted XI

West Ham will need no extra motivation for the London derby against Tottenham but they will want to recover quickly from the loss to Brighton last time out.

The defeat to the Seagulls stopped the Hammers’ recovery in recent weeks after a very poor start to life under manager Manuel Pellegrini.

The Chilean will be without a number of players for the game. Carlos Sanchez (knee) has joined long-term absentees Jack Wilshere (ankle), Winston Reid (knee), Manuel Lanzini (knee) and Andy Carroll (ankle).

However, Robert Snodgrass is expected to be fit after withdrawing from international duty with Scotland. Javier Hernandez (virus) and Arthur Masuaku (ankle) could both be back in contention.

Tottenham’s injury list is pretty long as well. Jan Vertonghen and Dele Alli are out with thigh injuries. Christian Eriksen (stomach), Mousa Dembele (thigh) and Danny Rose (groin) are all doubts.

Victor Wanyama is expected to recover in time for the game on Saturday despite limping off with a thigh injury during Kenya’s match against Ethiopia on Sunday.

Predicted West Ham XI to face Tottenham:

Fabianski

Zabaleta, Balbuena, Diop, Masuaku

Noble, Rice, Obiang

Yarmolenko, Arnautovic, Felipe Anderson

Predicted Score – 1-1
