West Ham V Southampton: Team News, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

West Ham manager David Moyes says he is unsure whether either Michail Antonio or Aaron Cresswell will return for the Boxing Day clash against Southampton.

Antonio missed the 2-1 defeat to Tottenham in the Carabao Cup after testing positive for the virus, while Cresswell has been out for a while with a back problem.

Kurt Zouma (hamstring) and Angelo Ogbonna (knee) are sidelined for the long term but Vladimir Coufal will be back in the squad after serving his one-match ban.

West Ham’s Predicted XI To Face Southampton:

Fabianski, Coufal, Diop, Dawson, Masuaku, Soucek, Lanzini, Rice, Benrahma, Bowen, Fornals

Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl has confirmed that Che Adams (hamstring) and Stuart Armstrong (calf) are back in contention, but Fraser Forster (knock) and Adam Armstrong (calf) are doubts. Alex McCarthy remains sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Southampton’s Predicted XI:

Forster, Livramento, Lyanco, Salisu, Walker-Peters, S. Armstrong, Ward-Prowse, Romeu, Redmond, Broja, Adams

The bookies have the Hammers as the favourites with Betfair currently pricing them at 10/11 for the win. A draw is 14/5 with Bet 365 while a victory for Southampton is 13/4 at Unibet.

Predicted Score – 1-0 to West Ham
