West Ham V Newcastle: Team News And Betting Odds

West Ham will want to get back to winning ways as quickly as possible after a disappointing home draw against Sheffield United last Saturday.

The Hammers should be confident of getting the three points at home, though, against a struggling Newcastle side, who have won just once since August.

Jack Wilshere is expected to be back in contention after missing the match versus the Blades due to a groin problem. Lukasz Fabianski (hip), Michail Antonio (hamstring) and Winston Reid (fitness) remain unavailable.

Newcastle manager Steve Bruce could have Fabian Schar (knee) back for the game after the Swiss international missed the draw against Wolves. Matt Ritchie is also closing in on a return to fitness following an ankle injury.

Florian Lejuene (fitness) and Andy Carroll (groin) won’t feature, while Sean Longstaff and Isaac Hayden are both suspended for the match.

The bookmakers have West Ham as favourites with Sky Bet pricing them at 10/11 odds-on for the win. A draw is currently 27/10 with Unibet while a Newcastle victory is 16/5 at BetVictor.

Predicted Score – 2-0 to West Ham
