West Ham V Leeds United: FA Cup Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

West Ham would likely have wanted an easier draw for their FA Cup third-round tie but Leeds are not exactly in the best shape due to an injury crisis engulfing the club.

The Hammers do have fitness issues of their own, with Pablo Fornals (virus), Aaron Cresswell (back), Kurt Zouma (hamstring) and Angelo Ogbonna (knee) all missing. Said Benrahma is away at the African Cup of Nations.

West Ham’s Predicted XI To Face Leeds:

Areola, Johnson, Diop, Dawson, Masuaku, Soucek, Lanzini, Noble, Yarmolenko, Bowen, Vlasic

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed eight players will be out of contention for the trip to the London Stadium due to injury. Tyler Roberts, Rodrigo (heel), Liam Cooper, Kalvin Phillips (both hamstring), Pascal Struijk (foot), Jamie Shackleton (Achilles), Charlie Cresswell (shoulder) and Joe Gelhardt (ankle) are all unavailable. Patrick Bamford could, however, return from a hamstring problem, but Diego Llorente is suspended.

Leeds’s Predicted XI:

Meslier, Dallas, Ayling, Koch, Firpo, Klich, Bate, Forshaw, Raphinha, James, Harrison

At the bookmakers, West Ham are the favourites to make it through to the next round with William Hill currently pricing them at 10/11 odds-on. A draw is 11/4 with Bet 365 while a victory for Leeds is 18/5 at Unibet.

Predicted Score – 3-1 to West Ham
