West Ham V Huddersfield Town – Team News & Predicted XI Plus Betting Odds

West Ham will want to build on their 4-2 win over Burnley with a victory against strugglers Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini would have been delighted with the attacking display at the London Stadium, and he will be hoping for more of the same for their trip to the John Smith’s Stadium.

The Hammers will again be without captain Mark Noble who is serving the last game of his three-match suspension. In terms of injuries, Robert Snodgrass is suffering from an ankle problem, but could still feature against the Terriers.

The Scottish winger has asked to be left out for the upcoming internationals against Albania and Israel in order to fully recover from the issue.

Jack Wilshere won’t be fit to return to action at the weekend with the midfielder only expected to start training again during the international break. It is the same situation with Andy Carroll with both players likely to be ready for the game against Manchester City on November 24th.

Manuel Lanzini, Winston Reid and Carlos Sanchez all have long-term knee injuries and won’t return before the New Year. Andriy Yarmolenko is likely to be out for the season following Achilles surgery.

For Huddersfield, Danny Williams will be missing for the game due to a knee problem, while Eric Durm is a slight doubt after picking up a groin strain before the Terriers’ win against Fulham last weekend.

According to the bookmakers, West Ham are the favourites for the game despite being away from home. Betfred have them at 13/10 for the Saturday afternoon encounter, with the best price for a draw being 23/10 with Bet365. For Huddersfield to win, the best odds are 27/11 with 188BET. So it seems the bookies are all favouring the Hammers to make it two wins from two against the Terriers.
