West Ham, Tottenham And Arsenal Told They Must Pay 12M To Sign Turkish Star

Sassuolo are holding out for around €14m (£12m) for right-back Mert Muldur, according to reports in the Italian media.

West Ham are said to have already tabled a €7m (£6m) bid for the Turkish international but Sassuolo are hoping to get an offer that is double that amount.

Tottenham and Arsenal are also believed to be in the running for Muldur and it may be the case that his club are trying to encourage a bidding war in order to get the best deal possible.

With Vladimir Coufal having made such a big impression since his arrival at the London Stadium, it wouldn’t seem wise to spend so much of the club’s transfer budget on a player, simply to provide competition for the Czech international.

However, Muldur is both-footed so it appears that, while the 22-year-old has spent most of his career on the right-hand side, Hammers boss David Moyes may be considering him as a potential option at left-back.
