West Ham Star Named Among Four Players Sent Back To Their Clubs After Being Snubbed For Nations League Clash

West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen has not been included in England‘s matchday squad for the Nations League match against Germany this evening.

After England were relegated from their group, it was assumed that some of those who weren’t selected in the 1-0 defeat to Italy on Friday would be given their chance at Wembley tonight.

However, Bowen, along with Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, Southampton captain James Ward-Prowse and AC Milan’s Fikayo Tomori won’t feature, in addition to the suspended Jack Grealish.

It was actually a surprise that Bowen was called up in the first place, considering his poor form at the start of the season, but his failure to play in either game over the past week won’t help improve his confidence.

Hopefully, Bowen will be keen to prove England manager Gareth Southgate wrong, giving him extra determination to return to his club and put in some better performances after the international break.
