West Ham Set To Offload Seven Stars In Mass Summer Clearout

Javier Hernandez

West Ham will undergo another squad overhaul this summer, according to the Daily Star.

Seven players have been tipped to leave the London Stadium as manager Manuel Pellegrini looks to ring the changes ahead of next campaign.

Leading those heading for the exit door is Javier Hernandez. The Mexican could leave as Pellegrini seeks extra funds to finance his summer transfer plans.

Lucas Perez will also be sold after being rarely used this season, having made just four Premier League starts since his move from Arsenal last August.

Jordan Hugill will also be offloaded with the former Preston striker not part of the Hammers’ first team plans following a year on loan at Middlesbrough.

There will also be no place for Sam Byram who has also been playing in the Championship for Nottingham Forest. With the right-back’s contract expiring in 2020, a buyer will need to be found.

With Andy Carroll and Adrian also out of contract, and Reece Oxford close to a permanent switch to Germany, West Ham’s squad could look a lot different come the start of next season.
