West Ham ‘Remain Interested’ As They Consider Challenging Barca And PL Rivals For 60M Rated Brazilian

West Ham “remain interested” in signing Leeds winger Raphinha, according to 90min.com. The website believes there is a possibility that the Hammers will revive a move for the Brazilian, who they tried to land during the January transfer window.

Barcelona have been tipped as heavy favourites for the player’s signature in recent months, but the La Liga club are said to be having issues matching Leeds’ £60m asking price.

Reports in the Spanish media do claim that Raphinha’s heart is still set on a move to the Camp Nou but that could change if the Catalan side can’t raise the funds needed to snap him up.

It could allow West Ham and other Premier League teams the opportunity to get back into the race to sign the 25-year-old, although the Irons’ chances of beating the competition for the winger’s services do remain pretty slim.

Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal have also been mentioned as potential destinations for Raphinha, and all four of those clubs will be playing in bigger European competitions next season.
