West Ham Preparing Early Summer Bid For £25m Rated Serbian Marksman

West Ham will make a move for Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic if the Cottagers are relegated, according to reports in the UK.

The Hammers are said to be keen to move quickly for the Serbian in the summer if his club, as expected, fail to beat the drop.

Mitrovic has been a standout performer since his permanent £22m switch to Craven Cottage from Newcastle in July. The forward has racked up 10 goals in 30 Premier League appearances.

His performances are in stark contrast to his team, who find themselves 13 points from safety with just eight games to go.

Fulham will want to recoup all of the money they shelled out on Mitrovic, and it is believed the Hammers would have to offer at least £25m in order to secure the 24-year-old’s services.

The Serbian international will likely be a replacement for Marko Arnautovic, who is expected to leave for China at the end of the season.
