West Ham Planning Free Transfer Move For Former La Liga Midfield Enforcer

West Ham are considering a move for former Celta Vigo star Nemanja Radoja, according to TEAMtalk. The Serbian international is available on a free transfer and can move to English clubs outside of the transfer window.

The Hammers are not the only team interested in the 26-year-old, though, with Brighton and Leeds also keeping tabs on the defensive midfielder.

Radoja spent five years at Celta before leaving at the end of his contract in June. He played 146 times for the La Liga side but injuries meant he did not play a single game last season.

His lack of match fitness would be a major concern but manager Manuel Pellegrini is likely to be looking to strengthen in the middle of the pitch.

The Hammers boss said he was keen to replace Pedro Obiang following the midfielder’s departure to Sassuolo in the summer, but the club did not sign a replacement before the transfer deadline earlier this month.
