West Ham On Alert As Club Consider Selling Striker Who Scored 3 Goals In 2 Matches For Germany Last Week

Werder Bremen are considering whether to offload West Ham target Niclas Fullkrug, according to reports in the German media.

The 30-year-old scored three times in two appearances for Germany during the most recent international break but Bremen need to raise funds to service their debts.

Fullkrug was mentioned as a potential transfer target for the Hammers earlier this month, while Everton have also been linked with the player over the past few days.

As well as performing well for his country, the striker has bagged 15 goals in only 24 league appearances for Bremen this season, so it is not surprising that a number of Premier League teams are watching his situation closely.

A move for Fullkrug may well depend on what West Ham manager David Moyes decides to do with Gianluca Scamacca. Reports have heavily linked the forward with a return to Italy and, if he is sold, a replacement will be needed.
