West Ham On Alert As £30m Rated Spanish Ace Angles For Premier League Switch

West Ham and Everton have been alerted to the availability of Valencia striker Rodrigo, according to reports.

The Spanish international is said to be interested in a move to the Premier League this summer if a deal can be agreed.

Valencia may take a tough stance on Rodrigo’s sale as he is a key first-team player, but they could be prepared to sell for £30m.

The forward would likely be cheaper than Celta Vigo’s Maxi Gomez. Negotiations between the Hammers and the Spanish club have been protracted as there has been no compromise on the forward’s £45m release clause.

Rodrigo could prove to be a good alternative. He is Spain’s first choice striker, having started six of their last ten internationals.

The 28-year-old is, however, not that prolific, having gone through a four-month spell last season without scoring a league goal. He did end up scoring 15 goals and contributing ten assists in 51 appearances for Valencia.
