West Ham ‘Now Considering’ Move For £21m Rated Ivorian After Being Told He’s Available On Loan

West Ham are “now considering” a move for AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie after it emerged that he will be made available on loan by the Rossoneri, according to the Evening Standard.

Reports in Italy have linked the Hammers with the Ivorian international regularly over the past year, with it even being claimed earlier this month that the London club had a €25m (£21m) offer turned down for the player.

However, it appears there is now genuine interest in Kessie, with intermediaries indicating that the 23-year-old is very keen on a move to England.

West Ham have been looking at possible options to strengthen in midfield, with both Stoke City’s Joe Allen and Genk’s Sander Berge under consideration, but with the club reportedly only looking at loan deals this month, Kessie looks the most realistic possibility.

The Irons may not be the only English club interested in the Ivorian, though, with the likes of Wolves and Arsenal also said to be looking at the player.
