West Ham Named As One Of Three Clubs Who Could Make Bid For 18M Rated Winger ‘In The Coming Days’

West Ham, Fulham and one other Premier League club are interested in signing Sporting Lisbon winger Jovane Cabral, according to A BOLA. The Portuguese tabloid claims that bids for the 22-year-old are expected to arrive from England “in the coming days.”

The Hammers reportedly made first contact about signing the Cape Verde international last month and it remains to be seen whether they will now firm up their interest in the player.

It is believed that manager David Moyes needs to sell players before he makes signings this summer and, with Sporting demanding €20m (£18m) for Cabral, funds will need to be raised in order to finance the potential transfer.

Reports in England over the past few days suggest that West Ham may have received bids for Manuel Lanzini and Pablo Fornals, and the proceeds from the sale of either player could be used for Cabral.

As well as Fulham, claims in the UK suggest the other Premier League club involved in the race could be Tottenham, so the Irons may want to make their move for the Sporting winger soon.
