West Ham Named Among 11 Clubs Chasing 85M Rated Serie A Ace As Contract Talks Stall

West Ham are one of eleven clubs interested in signing Torino captain Andrea Belotti, according to CorriereGranata.it.

The Italian website reports that Chelsea, Tottenham, Everton, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Napoli, Roma, Fiorentina and two other teams in Spain and Germany are monitoring his situation.

Belotti has a €100m (£85m) release clause but he is expected to be offloaded on a cut-price deal if he doesn’t agree to a new contract before the end of the summer transfer window.

The 27-year-old’s current deal with Torino expires in 2022, and the Serie A side are willing to offer him €2m a season (almost €3m including bonuses) to keep him in Italy.

However, that salary could be dwarfed by offers Belotti may receive from other clubs, and it is said that the striker has yet to make up his mind over whether to stay at his current team or seek a new challenge elsewhere.

For Torino this season, the Italian international has been in decent form, scoring 11 goals in 25 appearances, despite his side sitting just above the relegation places.
