West Ham are considering former Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers as a potential candidate to replace David Moyes, according to reports in England.
While the Hammers have made it to the Conference League final, they have had a disappointing season domestically, finishing in 14th place.
If Moyes’s side end up losing to Fiorentina on Wednesday night, there is a strong possibility that a new manager will be appointed, but fans on Twitter are divided on whether Rodgers should be the man to take the reins at the London Stadium:
Leagues ahead of Moyes in every category, top progressive coach took Liverpool to 2nd and Leicester twice to 5th plus won the FA Cup and Comminity Shield . plays quality football not the unwatchable defensive dross we have all suffered under Moyes. would be a great appointment

Would be a great choice, had to sell a lot of players at the start of the season and wasn’t backed in any signings, plays attack minded football

It’d start well but there’s a reason he only ever sticks around for a couple of years.

If it ain’t a top class manager we should keep moyes, just moving sideways

It’s fair to say that Rodgers has had a mixed track record as a manager. He guided Liverpool to second, narrowly missing out on the Premier League title in 2014.
His Celtic side were dominant during his spell in Scotland, and his time in charge in Leicester did start off very brightly. However, the wheels did come off at the Foxes and he has to take his fair share of the blame for their relegation this campaign.
Of course, if West Ham do win their first major European trophy in 60 years this week, a change in the dugout is very unlikely, but we shall see how things unfold.
